Yembu Junior is the only child of Cynthia Nawa and her husband. Born with a cleft lip and palate, his arrival brought both joy and deep concern.
At three months old, Yembu was accepted into the CFF support program. CTC Inc., CFF, his family and the specialist team at PMGH completed every arrangement for his first-stage surgery, which was successful.
Yembu will return for his second-stage surgery as recommended by the medical team. For Cynthia, it was the removal of a lifelong fear — and a new beginning for her son.
